Berry Rubellite Tourmaline Earrings

Beautiful simple earrings with gorgeous berry Rubellite Tourmaline. These gemstones have a wonderful color & clarity, some with beautiful rainbow inclusions.  

The Rubellite gemstones are hand wrapped to 6mm vermeil circles and hang from gold filled ear wires.

These earrings make a beautiful Valentine's Day gift or a gift for yourself! Simple, elegant design for anyone!  

All other components gold filled. Earrings measure 1" from the top of the ear wire. Silicon ear backs are included.

About Rubellite: 

Rubellite is a saturated dark pink to red colored Tourmaline and is highly prized. 

Trace amounts of manganese create rubellite's natural berry color. 

Rubellite is also known as Red Tourmaline, but not all Red Tourmaline stones are called Rubellite. Only the most vivid and most saturated stones get this name. Other shades of lighter pink are more classified as pink tourmaline. 

Rubellites have a hardness of 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. To clean, use a soft brush, warm water and mild detergent. (Source: https://www.gemsociety.org/)
